Nobody said life had to be lonesome or boring. Given our high regard for quality of life, Hope in Home always goes the extra mile to create safe, recreational and healing spaces for our clientele. From support groups to day trips and adventure activities, we design group engagement plans so that everyone can have utmost fun without the hindrance of classic inaccessibility and disregard for individual needs. Our group events and community activities cater to the specific micro-demographic they are designed for, and they do so by ensuring that the activity is accessible to the people it is made for.
This includes transport, availability of medical aid, equipment care and maintenance, dietary restrictions respected, and accessible audio-visual engagement itineraries. What’s even more important is that we also respect diversity and make the activities as inclusive as possible to all genders, ethnicities, races, cultures, and LGBTI identities. This is to ensure that diverse groups of similarly abled people are able to share their life experiences while also actively learning from broader audiences and mixed melting pots. The guiding framework of these group activities for disability care is to manifest a wholesome and holistic life experience for all.
